Evidence at Trial

The Evidence Code, in the order a trial actually uses it.

You know the code exists. You have never read it in the order a trial actually uses it. This is that reading, division by division, with the objection each part answers: what the judge decides before the jury hears anything, what makes a fact relevant, how a document gets in, when an opinion is allowed, and where hearsay really begins.

Four modules. Self-paced, on demand, and on any device.

What you are agreeing to

  • Two payments of $275, a month apart. A payment plan is not a subscription — it is a fixed number of payments, and it ends when the second one is made. Nothing renews. Paying in full is $499.
  • Yours to keep. You have access for as long as we run this site, and there is no time limit on it.
  • Four hours of California MCLE credit, issued on completion.
  • Thirty days to change your mind, running from your first payment. If the course is not worth what you paid, tell us and we will refund it. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask you to justify one.

Evidence at Trial is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider, number 19358. Taught by David Sugden, a trial lawyer at Call & Jensen in Newport Beach.
